Advice Wanted: Best Practices for Gathering Industry-Specific News

For my new project, I need to set up a system to gather real news related to specific topics or industries. Do you have any suggestions?

I'm considering two options:

1. Using RSS feeds (although it seems more complicated because we would need to regularly update the list of feeds and ensure their quality);

2. Utilizing services like NewsAPI.

By the way, I used NewsAPI while testing the MotherDuck platform to generate some sample data. It's user-friendly, convenient, and accessible for developers: all you need to do is sign up, obtain an access key, and install the Python client library to start using the API endpoints. However, the pricing for commercial projects is quite high.

I would appreciate any suggestions you have.
